What the heck am I doing!?

It's almost been 3 weeks since I took the Delta Airplane, (it's a good airline, maybe if someone from delta reads this they will give me some frequent flier miles for advertising ;), to the land of Costa Rica.  I did not lose my passport on the flight this time, so I feel like I've already made some strides from a previous trip I made to the CR. It's been in my heart and mind for quite some time now to make the move back to the land of beans and rice, but didn't fully come into gear until August.  A series of events happened quite quickly to make this move happen: 2 cars sold within  2 weeks, I found a job, and it just so happened that 3 girls from the Midwest needed a roommate in September and my lease in the states ended in August... coincidence, maybe... God.... more possible.  So here I am.

I'm hoping this blog will bring some laughter, hope, and most importantly light to your life.  I enjoy expressing myself through writing and through means of making people laugh, and my life seems to allow for some laughable moments. ( I am or may not have already been soaked by a CR bus speeding down the highway.)

Things I've learned since I've lived here:

People are extremely friendly!

5:30 is the typical wake up for me as the whole world seems to be moving accept for me.  I thought this country liked to relejar! (relax)

If you go outside between 2-5 expect to be hit by a waterfall.... no sprinkles here folks

Do not make eye contact with the construction workers....

Coffee is a way of life.

Panaderias are my new best friend.  Fresh bread, heck ya!

Do not make eye contact with the construction workers....

It's appropriate to be close and touch people here... this is great for me as when I laugh I typically lean on the person next to me. ( maybe this still isn't appropriate. hmmmm)

Wear sunscreen. do it.
